The Mayor and Council formed a Recreation Board by Resolution in 2016. The board is comprised of seven members and will assume responsibility for league baseball and softball beginning in the spring of 2017. Other priorities will be acquiring and improving all existing facilities including the former National Guard Armory building. The board meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room.
